Post-Award Support
APSC invites all those its helps to qualify for OPTIONAL Post-Award Support that becomes effective when the VA Benefits are awarded to the claimant. This optional service allows APSC’s clerical and administrative staff to continue to assist donors in preserving their VA Benefits after receiving their VA Benefit award. AN ELECTION TO NOT SUBSCRIBE FOR QUALIFICATION FOR POST-AWARD SUPPORT DOES NOT AFFECT APSC’S FREE SERVICE IN ASSISTING YOU TO FILE YOUR INITIAL CLAIM FOR VA BENEFITS. However, historically, the majority of APSC’s awarded claimants experience a need for Post-Award Support, which currently consumes up to half of the APSC staff resources.
Post-Award Support donors receive support and assistance:
**Post-Award Support does not include legal representation, appeals, administrative representations or other legal services, however, most post-award needs of APSC's successful claimants are administrative or clerical in nature.
